Watertown Conservation Club's Hunter Ed. Class
Watertown WI.- Here are pictures from our Hunter Education class which we taught at the Watertown Conservation Club in February, 2010.  There were 20 students which took the course, ranging in age from 11 years old to a grandfather with 2 grandsons.  The money from the Hunter Education Super fund was used to assist with teaching materials and supplies. Thank you for the Superfund money which certainly helped with our class and other Hunter Education classes taught at the Conservation Club.
 Sincerely,
Jerry and Bev Yunto

Mentored Hunting

Mentored Hunting Bill Signed Into Law

Madison, WI -- After years of hard work, the long awaited Mentored Hunting bill became law today in Madison. This came about due to the efforts of Wisconsin's Hunter's Rights Coalition (HRC). The coalition is made up of many hunting organizations throughout the state, but speak as one when it comes to dealing with state hunting issues. The coalition is made up of the WI NWTF, WI Chapter of Safari Club International, WI Bearhunter's Assoc., branches of the Quality Deer Management Assoc., Sporting Heritage Inc., US Sportsmen's Alliance, National Rifle Assoc., Hunter's Alliance for Regulatory Communication, Wisconsin Hunters United, and WI FORCE. This law will make it legal to take persons 10 years of age or older hunting side by side with an experienced mentor. Several members of the organizations listed above were in attendance at the signing.
